Furniture Store Interior Decorator / Marketing
Full-time – $13 – $15 an hour
Annual Pay: $25,000.00 to $32,000.00+ / year with benefits & commissions.

Typical duties of the position would include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Buy and sell indoor and outdoor furniture, as well as home decor and accessories.
- The ability to work with and communicate with the public in a retail setting.
- Basic knowledge of computer Office suites, specifically word processing and spread sheets.
- Buy and sell indoor and outdoor furniture, as well as home decor and accessories.
- Setting up and maintaining floor model displays as well as general store upkeep.
- Creating presentations for particular projects.
- Creating content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter) and managing the stores social media presence.
- Using simple hand tools like a hammer, screwdriver and box cutter.
- Typical duties associated with the day to day activities presented by a retail environment, including light cleaning.
- Working a 40+ hour work week, including some Saturdays.
- Lightweight lifting and full mobility is required to fulfill some tasks.

Experience:
- Interior Decorating: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

- Driving to clients properties as well as gaining access to 2nd homes and rental properties.
- Unpack and install custom window treatments as well as cleaning up after your work, including removing all trash.
- Basic use of computers and modern electronic equipment.
- Setting up and maintaining floor model displays as well as general store upkeep.
- Typical duties associated with the day to day activities presented by a carpentry environment, including using a measuring tape, drill, saw, ladder as well as light cleaning.
- Working a 40+ hour work week, including some Saturdays.
- Participation in special events, such as seminars, shows and off site marketing.
- Window Treatment Installers are encouraged to visit training seminars (expenses paid) and participate in the decision making for the Window Treatment department.
